The much-awaited film by Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi Gehraiyaan has finally released on Amazon Prime.
This movie has been creating a huge buzz right since the teaser and trailer was realized a few months back.
Directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, this movie deals with the complicated relationship between the four leading characters which include Ananya Pandey and Dhairya Karwa in the lead.
Deepika and Ananya play cousin sisters who have an amazing bond with each other which gets ruined because of circumstances and unwise decisions taken by the leading characters.
Although the film deals with the topic of infidelity, which has been shown several times in Bollywood over the years, the execution is totally different and refreshing.
As usual Deepika delivers a top-class performance and Siddhant too is enjoyable to watch playing a character very different from the roles he has portrayed so far.
Ananya too comes as a surprise package delivering one of her best performances so far.
The movie has some bold scenes which may or may not work with certain audiences.
Let’s wait and see whether this film by Deepika Padukone is able to live up to the hype or whether this too becomes another film failing to meet expectation of viewers.
