World Cup 2019: Can 'Kul-Cha' Spin Duo Effect Prove Beneficial For Team India

There's a question in everyone's mind around the world, can Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal popularly called as "Kul-Cha" spin duo, effect prove beneficial for Team India in ICC World Cup 2019.

No doubt, past records says it all that both the two wrist-spinners have made a tremendous contribution to the Team India in limited overs cricket.

Kuldeep Yadav, the Chinaman bowler, and Yuzvendra Chahal, leg-break bowler are “pillars” of India’s spin bowling attack.

Together, they have played 26 ODI matches for Team India in which they clinched 101 wickets with a winning percentage of 71%.

In International Cricket, Yuzvendra Chahal has 72 wickets in 41 ODIs at an average of 24.61 while Kuldeep Yadav has taken 87 wickets in 44 matches, averaging 21.74.

Although, Kuldeep Yadav was dropped from the Kolkata Knight Riders team during last month’s IPL 2019 because of bad form still it is believed he will make himself as a key bowler for Team India. He has taken only 4 wickets at an average of 71.42 while playing 9 matches in IPL 2019.

Yuzvendra Chahal on the other side playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL 2019 of 14 matches has taken 18 wickets at an average of 21.44 (Best Figures 4/27) and proved somehow beneficial for his team RCB.

Also, besides these two wrist spinners, the pace trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar make it probably India’s best ever attack going into an ICC World Cup 2019.
