Makers of Ishqbaaz set new focus on #MeToo Movement addressing the issue of Sexual Harassment

Star Plus daily soap Ishqbaaz has recently focussed on portraying relevant issues such as PDA (Public Display of Affection), Social Media Usage, Language Divide, and most recently blind faith and Elder Abandonment which were all are away from that old creepy Saas-Bahu sagas.

The show Ishqbaaz will now focus on the raging #MeToo Movement which took the World by storm recently.

#MeToo Movement came to light after Hollywood Mogul Harvey Weinstein was ousted by the Industry following allegations of Sexual Harassment against him.

Most famous Hollywood Actresses too joined the movement and opened up about their experiences with Weinstein,

The movement turned Global with women all over the world opening up.

Trouble ahead for Oberos and Oberoi Family

Following this, addressing the issue of sexual harassment became a core topic of discussion and the fire continues to burn within.

Ishqbaaz is planning to take the movement forward by focussing on it and making sure conversations over the same.

Despite being a core issue, Indian Television shows have usually stayed away from portraying and or discussing anything controversial, it's nice to see a few shows taking an initiative.
