Dil Hi Toh Hai is an upcoming Indian romantic family drama television series which will start in 11 June 2018 on Sony TV.
It is produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms.
The show will star Karan Kundra and Yogita Bihani in lead roles.
Also, actor Akshay Dogra will play the negative lead in the show. He will essay the character of Rishabh, the elder brother of the male lead. Akshay has earlier been part of shows like 12/24 Karol Bagh, Punar Vivah, Do Dil Ek Jaan etc.
Other actors who have joined the star cast of Dil Hi Toh hai are Bijay Anand, Ritu Vij and Farida Dadi who will be seen in pivotal roles.
Veteran actress Poonam Dhillon will be seen playing the mother of the male protagonist Ritwik Noon (Karan Kundra).
With regards to the plot Dil Hi Toh Hai is a family drama centered around an industrialist family that deals in pharmaceuticals.
It’s a story about siblings who love and respect each other despite differences.
As per the latest promo it looks like Karan Kundra’s character Ritvik Noon who appears to be a colourful guy has a bitter past love story.
He then meets Yogita Bihani’s character.
However, it is yet to be known if their characters shared a past or will Yogita Bihani’s character’s entry in Ritwik’s life will bring a new chapter in his life.
