Tamil Nadu girl Anukreethy Vas has finally crowned Miss India 2018 in a star-studded event held in Mumbai last night.

Anukreethy Vas is a 19-year-old student from Tamil Nadu, she is currently pursuing BA degree in French at Loyola College in Chennai.
Anukreethy Vas completed her schooling from RSK High Secondary School.
Anukreethy Vas is a passionate lover of singing, she loves to dance and is also a state-level athlete.
Anukreethy Vas has a passion for riding bikes.
Raised by a single mother, she is fulfilling her Moher's dream by pursuing BA in French to become a translator.
Anukreethy Vas wants to become a Supermodel and is a big fan of ace photographer Atul Kasbekar.
Anukreethy Vas beat 30 contestants from across India to be crowned Miss India 2018 at Dome, NSCI SVP Stadium, Mumbai yesterday.
Miss India Haryana Meenakshi Chaudhary and Miss India Andhra Pradesh Shreya Roy Kamavarpu became the first and second runners-up respectively.
Celebrities on the Judges panel included Cricketers Irfan Pathan and KL Rahul, ace Fashion Designer Gaurav Gupta and Bollywood actors Malaika Arora, Bobby Deol and Kunal Kapoor.
Former Miss World Stephanie Del Valle was also present at the even.
The event was hosted by Karan Johar and Ayushmann Khurana.
Anukreethy Vas will now be preparing to represent India at Miss World 3018.
