Kartik had to let go Kairav as Lisa lies about Naira's accident and here Dadi asks Kartik to get ready for engagement.

Kartik and Vedika's engagement happens and this begins all new functions that is pre-wedding celebrations.

While here Kartik, Vedika's mehendi ceremony is organized, Vedika is happy to write Kartik's name on her hand.

Kartik on other hand recalls Naira and how they got married, while here Dadi asks Vedika and Kartik to dance as it's their mehendi ceremony.

Kartik is reluctant but then agrees for Dadi and thus dances with Vedika, although he only recalls Naira and dancing with her.
