Bondita's character is played by child artist Aurra Bhatnagar Badoni, while as per government guidelines children's are not allowed on sets.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee to play grown up Bondita

Here Aurra is an 8 year old girl and thus makers can't get her on the sets, thus channel and makers are planning a leap.

If rumors are to be believed Devoleena Bhattacharjee will replace Bondita in Barrister Babu and will play the lead as grown up Bondita.
