Khichdi, out of the ordinary comedy show, which first premiered in the year 2002, is set to return to the small screen next month from April 14.

The channel on which the show will be aired has officially released the first teaser, and it will take you down memory lane.

In the first promo, it is seen that Jayshree asking Babuji to speed up as they are riding on a boat.

Due to unbearable heat Praful, in his typical style, asks Babuji to switch on the AC.

Babuji tells him that there is no roof over them but Hansa meticulously points out that AC is placed in front and not of roof.

Kids get annoyed due to their elders.

Viewers will get to see actors from the first season Anang Desai as Tulsidas Parekh aka Babuji,

Rajeev Mehta is seen as Praful Parekh, Supriya Pathak, the most loved character of the show, returns as Hansa Parekh.

Vandana Pathak takeover Jayshree Parekh’s role.

Even the characters of Chakki and Jackky, who play the kids on the show, are seen in the teaser.

Additionally few more actors are roped in to spice up the storyline like Renuka Shahane, Deepshika Nagpal and Bhaktiyaar Irani.

This time around Khichdi will be an hour-long show and aired every Saturday and Sunday.
