About Roop Mard Ka Naya Swaroop:

Colors TV upcoming show Roop Mard Ka Naya Swaroop is all set to take over the prime time slot with the launch of this show.

After Laado 2, Roop will aim to change the patriarchal mind set of society through its strong message of equality amid men and women.

The show will have a child actor as its lead who will be played by Pehredaar Piya Ki fame actor Afaan Khan.

The story will be based on a family living in a small town of Kutch Gujrat where the male head of the family will be played by Yash Tonk and the character of his wife will be essayed by actress Mitali Nag.

The husband wife duo will have four children one boy and three girls.

The role of the boy will be portrayed by Afaan Khan and he will play the titular role of Roop.

Roop’s father will be a police officer who wants Roop to be strong and masculine just like him.

However Roop will observe that his father works for only 8 hours on his duty whereas his mother works for 18 hours in the house.

Roop will want to break the stereotype of men being superior and will instead help his mother in the household chorus as he feels that his mother’s job is equally important to his fathers.

Let’s see if this show will work if this works magic and rule the TRP charts.
